Incoloy 800 is an alloy with a face-centered cubic lattice structure, so Incoloy 800 can resist corrosion from many corrosive media. Its higher nickel content makes it highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking under aqueous corrosive conditions. The high chromium content gives it good resistance to pitting corrosion and seam corrosion cracking. This alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acids, but has limited corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. In water, steam and steam,. It also has good corrosion resistance in mixtures of air and carbon dioxide.
1.Thermal processing of Incoloy 800
The temperature range is maintained at 1200℃~950℃, and the cooling method is water quenching or rapid air cooling. In order to achieve better performance and creep resistance, solution treatment must be carried out after thermal processing. The material can be directly fed into a furnace that has been heated to 1200°C. After being kept warm for a sufficient time, it can be quickly discharged from the furnace and thermally processed within the specified temperature range. When the material temperature drops below the thermal processing temperature, it needs to be reheated.
2.Cold working of Incoloy 800
The work hardening rate is greater than that of austenitic stainless steel, so processing equipment needs to be selected. Cold-worked materials should be in a solution heat-treated state, and intermediate annealing should be performed when the amount of cold working is large. If the amount of cold working is greater than 10%, the workpiece needs to be subjected to secondary solution treatment.
3.Incoloy800 splicing process
Suitable for using any traditional welding process with the same material or other metals, such as tungsten electrode inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal pole inert gas shielded welding, melting pole inert gas shielded welding, among which pulse arc welding It's a good plan. If manual arc welding is used, it is recommended to use (Ar+He+H2+CO2) as the shielding gas.
