Nickel 201
Nickel 201 has lower concentration of carbon that avoids embrittlement due to intergranular corrosion at temperatures up to 600oF. It offers similar corrosion resistance properties as of Nickel 200 alloy however it provides better performance in the elevated temperature applications. The alloy 201 provides excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing conditions, acids, alkalines, salts, fluorine and chlorine solutions. Nickel 201 alloy is utilized in the applications at temperatures above 600oF.
